Manufactured by molding flexible graphite or flexible graphite braided foil, HPMS graphite rings are designed to provide excellent sealing functions for valves, pumps, compressors, and chemical instruments.
Characteristics
Excellent thermal stability: Resistant to low and high temperatures (-200 to 650 °C) in oxidation environments and 3000°C in inert or reducing environments.
Chemically inert: Resistant to fluids with a pH range of 0-14 (except strong oxidizers such as nitric or sulphuric acid).
Low coefficient of friction.
Ease of installation.
Applications
High temperature, high pressure steam.
Hot water, oil, heat exchange fluids.
Low-temperature liquids.
Organic and inorganic fluids except for strong oxidizers such as nitric or sulphuric acid.
High temperature and pressure liquid valves.
High temperature and pressure gas valves.
High temperature joints.
Packing rings, turbine rings, and piston rings.
Special vacuum furnace applications.
